The Committee is responsible for the Council's Licensing function and as such considers and decides upon amongst others applications for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicle, driver and operators’ licences, the licensing of Sex Establishments and for the grant of Street Trading Consents. It also considers reviews of applications for the registration of venue for Civil Marriages.
