Housing Appeal & Review Panel

This meeting determines appeals against the decisions of the Head of Housing, determine Appeals against the decision of the Head of Housing to refuse to approve DFG and other grant applications and, review Decisions of the Head of Housing where a statutory right to review has been exercised (e.g. Review of an Intentionally Homeless decision), the case has been reviewed by officers of the Housing Service, and the officer review finds there has been a deficiency in the way the initial decision was taken but are still minded to take a decision which is not in the applicant’s favour.
