• How long have you lived in Luton?
I was born in Luton and have lived here all of my life, apart from four years of studying elsewhere.
• Which ward do you represent?
I have represented High Town ward since May 2011
• What portfolio do you represent? Do you sit on or chair any boards?
I have been the finance portfolio holder and Chair of the Board of Directors of London Luton Airport Limited since 2015.
• Why did you become a councillor?
I ran for election as a councillor because I thought it would be a good opportunity to work for positive change in Luton
• What issues are you most passionate about in your role as councillor?
Probably my proudest achievement, along with many others who work very hard every year, is the now annual High Town Festival which is held along High Town Road on the afternoon of the first Saturday in July – please do come along if you can make it!
