Maureen Briggs (Independent Member)

I was appointed to Luton BC Standards Committee in November 2007 and have a wealth of public sector experience with the MoD, NHS and Business Link. On retirement I took an active interest in issues of Public and Patient experience. I was appointed Chair of Continuing Care Review Panel for the East Midlands SHA, Chair of Patients Forum for the Lincolnshire Ambulance Trust, QUOF assessor for GP practices and Clerk to the Governors of a Primary School. I am presently Vice-Chair Standards Committee North Kesteven District Council, Chair and Lay Member of Dental Complaints Panel, and have been recently accepted for voluntary work with Bedfordshire Police.
